Art of the Human Body I paint the human body, whether it's a tiny figure in an imaginary landscape, a romantic portrait, or a luminous x-ray view of bones. I have recently started taking portrait commissions, working from a combination of live sittings and photo reference. Realistic drawing keeps me honest. Painting is where I experiment. I'm not a master yet, but I am committed to practice, to learning, and to reaching for the beautiful idea. |
